Existing owner-occupied homes; COROP and large municipalities; 1995-2012; 2005=100
Description
This table shows trends in sales prices of
existing owner-occupied houses displayed per COROP area and 25 Largest
municipalities (more than 100.000 inhabitants on 01-01-2005). In addition to the
price indices are also published, the number of homes sold.
average selling price and the total value of the sales prices of these
houses.
The price indices for the existing owner-occupied homes are based on a
comprehensive registration of sales transactions of dwellings by the
Land registry and WOZ values of all homes in the Netherlands.
Index sequences may fluctuate, for example when the number
transactions in a region are limited. It is therefore recommended that the
use long-term developments in price indices.
The average selling price may show a different development than the
price index of existing owner-occupied homes. The development of the average
however, sales price is not an indicator of the price evolution of
existing owner-occupied homes. For more information, see the section 3.

This table has been discontinued as of 8-3-2013 and is continued as existing owner-occupied houses; region; sales price index 2010 = 100. See also paragraph 3.
