Housing supply by habitation; region, 2008-2012
Description
This table gives an overview of the housing stock, divided into inhabited and uninhabited dwellings, including vacancy by region.
The data shown relate only to dwellings. These are not recreational homes, residential units and special residential buildings.
The occupancy is determined on the basis of a link of the address between the HousingRegister (WRG) and the Municipal Basic Administration (GBA), the Protocollaire Basic Administration (PROBAS) notification register, the WOZ registration and the Geographical Basic Register (GBR).
The data shall be further broken down by the following regional breakdowns:
— Districts, provinces, COROP areas, urban regions, metropolitan agglomerations and municipalities.
The moment of observation was determined on 1 January.
Data available from 2008 to 2012.
Status of the figures:
The figures are final.
When will there be new figures?
This table was discontinued as of 2 October 2013.
Reason for discontinuation:
The data on the housing stock are from 2012 from the BAG (Basic Registration Addresses and Buildings). To prevent trend breaks within one table, new tables have been launched (see also paragraph 3).
