Building permits; value and number of building types per COROP area 1990-2016
Description
This table contains part of the results of the monthly statistics granted building permits. This table publishes the data on the building price and the number of building permits granted (now called ‘environmental permit with activity building’) by type of building, type of work and building purpose.
The results for the period 1990 to 2002 relate to building permits granted with a construction sum starting from 45 thousand euros. As of 2002, the lower limit has been raised to 50 thousand euros.
This data is further broken down by parts of the country, provinces and COROP areas.
Data available from 1990 to 2016.
Status of the figures
The figures are final.
Changes as of 8 May 2017:
None, this table has been discontinued. With effect from the 2017 reporting year, a different methodology shall be used for the publications, in which:
— Figures of municipalities with non-response are estimated.
— Fulfilled statements by municipalities over previous periods are included in the figures for the month in which the authorisation was granted.
— Provisional figures are also published.
— Twelve months after publication, the figures are definitively determined.
When will there be new figures?
No longer applicable. This table is followed by new tables with recalculated figures of building permits granted from 2012. See paragraph 3.
