Material consumption and payments to contractors in the construction industry.
This publication presents results that have been extracted, among other things,
to the production statistics of the construction industry.
Production statistics describe the structure of production, yields,
consumption and costs of groups of companies. The presented here
data can be selected by business activity.
The main activities in the Construction industry are:
— Preparation for construction of land,
— Civil utility construction; land, water and road construction,
— Construction installation
— Finishing of buildings,
— Rental of construction and demolition machinery with service personnel.
CBS uses the SBI'93 (Standard Business Classification (SBI 1993))
to classify companies (including construction companies) in accordance with their activity and
encoding.
