New-build homes; input price index 2000 = 100
Description
The input price index of new-build homes follows price developments
of the cost components of wages and equipment for the new construction of a
house. The series reflects the evolution of wages in the
construction and a package of building materials such as that in the
housing (new) construction is applied.
In the composition of the index, the changes in the prices of
equipment (tools and machinery), general costs and profit & risk
out of consideration.
The following topics can be selected in the table:
— Total construction costs (wage and material),
— Wage component,
— Material component.

Frequency: discontinued
Status of the figures
All indices are final.
Changes compared to the previous version
The preliminary indices may be due to new and/or
updated source material has been changed.
When will there be new figures?
The series of new homes, input index 2000=100 has ceased as of 2-2-2009.
March 2009 the new publication will be published on the basis of 2005=100. This
will be calculated from January 2005. Then the provisional
January 2009 figures are published.
