Construction sum of new assignments received by architects; 2007-2012
Description
This table provides information on the quarterly evolution of the value of new assignments received by architects in civil and non-residential construction. The data can be subdivided into new contracts for residential and non-residential construction (offices, factories, hospitals etc.) For both categories of buildings, a distinction can be made between new construction and not new construction (renovation and the like).
The results are expressed in indices based on the year 2007. The trend has also been indicated in relation to the same period of the previous year.
The population of architects surveyed includes companies that have their main activity in the pursuit of architectural activities (according to the Standard Business Classification 2008 (SBI 2008): SBI 7111).
Data available from: The first quarter of 2007 to the fourth quarter of 2012.
Status of the figures:
The figures for the third and fourth quarters and the year 2012 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be finalised.

When will there be new figures?
This table is followed by 'Construction of new assignments received by architects; index 2010 = 100’. See also paragraph 3. As from the date of publication of the first reporting period of 2013, the statistical study which forms the basis of the results in this table has undergone a significant change: In 2013 switched from reference year 2007 to 2010 (2010 = 100).
