Integration; migration background, 2006-2011
Description
This table deals with the socio-cultural integration of four migrant background groups in the Netherlands: Turks, Moroccans, Surinamese and Antillians. Among other things, the extent to which they feel connected to the Netherlands, contacts with natives, mastering Dutch and participation in association life are discussed. Views on the role of men and women, on family relationships, on homosexuality and on ethical issues, religion and media use are also discussed in the table. Where possible, the immigrant groups are compared to a group of natives.
