Area statistics for Norway – historical data
Description
The area statistics show extent (stated in square kilometres) for counties, municipalities and basic areas divided by different area types such as sea surface, lake, forest, cultivated land, agglomeration, with more, as of January 1 in annual version.
The area statistics are established based on the administrative border database ABAS and the nationwide map database in scale 1:50 000 called N50 Map Data.
