Description
This table contains data on residents of the Netherlands by gender, age and nationality by region, 1 January.
The regions listed in the table are territories, provinces, COROP areas and municipalities.
The regional totals presented concern aggregations of municipalities.
In case of border changes that cross different regional borders, the division of the municipalities is grouped according to the most recent situation. For example: The municipality of Vianen has moved from the province of Zuid-Holland to the province of Utrecht as of 01-01-2002 and is grouped in this table in the province of Utrecht.

Changes as of 30 March 2020:
This table has been discontinued.
A new table has become available which replaces the discontinued table. The title of the new table is ‘Population; gender, age, nationality by region on 1 January' (see link under paragraph 3).
