Description
Commissioned by the province of Zuid-Holland, the study "Potential geothermal energy in Zuid-Holland" was carried out by IF-Technology, 2 December 2016. This map shows the potential of the Germanic Triassic Group. The depth of this formation varies between 2,000 and 4,000 meters below ground level. The potential for geothermal energy (GT) is shown in the power (MWt) and the energy quantity (PJ) that can be produced at a location with a single conventional doublet at a coefficient of performance (COP) of 15 and a return temperature of 35°C. Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal energy.
