Dataset Remscheider Building Blocks
Description
The data set contains polygons of the 1739 (construction) blocks in the Remscheid city area. The (construction) blocks in Remscheid form the smallest spatial unit as a means of organising statistics and planning. The 50 districts as well as the 4 districts of Alt-Remscheid, Süd, Lennep and Lüttringhausen are derived from the building blocks. The following factual information is stored about the polygon surfaces: Block number(block), associated district number (city part), name of the block with associated district(Refname).
