Population forecast at 1 January by age and gender, 2004-2009

The short-term forecast is an update of the long-term forecast
2002-2050 on the basis of observations made available.
This long-term forecast was published in early 2003. In the
short-term forecasts have been updated until 1 January 2009.

long-term forecast.
