2012 Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) Ballochmartin Bay SSSI site condition monitoring survey
Description
The main purpose of this intertidal survey of the Ballochmartin Bay SSSI, undertaken by Aquatic Survey and Monitoring Ltd. (ASML) for SNH on the 19th and 20th April 2012, were to provide sufficient information for site condition assessment. Intertidal sediment infauna and epibiota species abundance data and associated habitat descriptors were collected in-situ. Some baseline data were also collected for future SCM, including some infaunal core samples taken for laboratory analysis.
