WMS (Web Map Service) Groundwater Quality Indicators: Nitrate content of agricultural origin (2021)
Description
The WMS (Web Map Service) called "Groundwater Quality Indicators: Nitrate content of agricultural origin (2021)" allows the visualisation and consultation of the data set representing that water pollution by nitrates is caused in certain circumstances by intensive agricultural production, the most important diffuse source being the excessive or inadequate application of nitrogen fertilisers in agriculture.
To evaluate the recorded data, the current RD 47/2022 has been used, which establishes new limits of affected waters of 37.5 mg/l of NO3 in groundwater.
