Description
REDIAM is carrying out the review of Habitats of Community Interest (HIC), from the point of view of interpretation, location, delimitation and assessment of conservation status. This publication contains the information generated on the distribution of the 70 types of habitats identified in Andalusia, in order to comply with the European Directive 92/43/EEC, known as the Habitat Directive, which in Article 17 requires each country to carry out a six-year report on the conservation status of species and habitat types of Community interest. Specifically, it is generated for the sexenal report 2007-2012. The information that this publication collects is improved in the contents of later Habitats of Community Interest of Andalusia, with the publication HIC_Actual being the most up-to-date reference information.
