Priority area for preventive flood protection
Description
Objective of the regional plan. Priority areas of preventive flood protection must be kept free of development. Within priority areas of preventive flood protection, the construction of infrastructure facilities that may obstruct water run-off or restrict retention space in an unbalanced manner should be excluded. The drainage areas of priority areas of preventive flood protection are to be used as grassland or strengthened by afforestation of suitable areas in their retention capacity. -Data comes from the Regional Planning Association Leipzig-West Saxony - legal basis is the Regional Plan West Saxony 2008 (as of 25.07.2008)
