JHS 156 Registration of documents and data in the data management of electronic transactions and case handling
Description
The purpose of the recommendation is to help the authority to establish a sound basis for the data management of electronic services and case handling. The recommendation does not look at the entire case-handling process, but focuses on the registration of cases and documents, the standards, requirements and instructions related to registration, and how registration can be used for the processing of documented information. The construction of electronic services usually requires modelling of service processes and defining the information systems used to assist them. This also usually resolves the need to register cases and documents in the processing process in question. A significant number of laws, regulations and other guidelines affect the handling of matters and documents. JHS 156 helps to identify the key requirements set by document management for the registration planning work and lists the key guidelines related to these requirements. (18.8.2011)
