Description
Baden-Württemberg is rich in high-quality raw materials, especially from the fields of stones and earths as well as industrial minerals. With the raw material protection concept, the LGRB is commissioned to explore, delimit, evaluate and describe these raw material deposits. The present topics give an overview of the extraction points operated in the country (divided by raw material groups and production volume classes) and a selection of further processing plants, about the near-surface mineral raw materials and the distribution of rock salt in the Middle Muschelkalk as well as on some important conflicts of use.
