WMS Stolpersteine Krefeld
Description
The WMS (Web Map Service) is a standardized interface for the provision of map sections in raster format. Requests can be sent to a WMS with various operations (see section Technical information). Usually this takes over a geoinformation system, in which the URL of the WMS is integrated.
With the stumbling blocks, the artist Gunter Demnig commemorates the victims in the time of National Socialism. The stumbling blocks are small commemorative plaques made of brass laid in the ground in front of the last self-chosen place of residence of the people who were persecuted, murdered, deported, expelled or driven into suicide during the period of National Socialism.
