AFIS — Heavy Duty Points

Description

Gravity points are surveying points for which the Earth’s drop acceleration (heavy) is very precisely determined and which are guided by official SFP detection. Gravity or fall acceleration consists of gravity (mass attraction of the Earth) and centrifugal acceleration of the Earth’s rotation. In the 1960s, the State Gravimetric Networks (SGN) were created in the former GDR. The 1st to 3 rd Order was marketed, the 4. Order remained unmarketed. The point density is 1 gravity point 1 to 4. Order on 1.5 km². The data is provided free of charge via automated procedures or by self-collection. When using the data, the license conditions must be observed.
