Description

Child and youth work is a legally enshrined component of the social infrastructure for young people in Freiburg. It makes a special contribution to informal education and personal development. It develops and promotes personal responsibility, social co-responsibility and democratic participation. As an independent educational body, it provides key social and cultural qualifications. Open child and youth work takes into account the different interests and circumstances of children and adolescents and works in a gender-differentiated manner.
