Investigations of germ colonisation of the tracheobronchial mucosa of gams deer
Description
In the period between October 2018 and December 2019, a total of 11 pieces of gams were collected and sent cooled to AGES Mödling. From 80 % of the trachea samples and 45 % of the lung samples, a bacterial mixed flora was to be isolate, which can be considered normal lung inhabitants. From also 45 % of the samples, from pieces of gams deer unsuspicious when responding, pathogenic bacteria, i.e. potential pathogens from pneumonia, could also be isolated. And remarkable was the detection of mycoplasmas in three pieces of gams deer. These germs, although difficult to detect, are to pay much more attention in the future.
