The issue No. 23 from the series “scriptumonline – Geoscientific Work Results from North Rhine-Westphalia” contains geogenetic definitions of loose rocks, which were developed in the geological mapping guide of the Working Group Geology of the State Geological Services of Germany (SGD). The detailed definitions consist of texts, references, tables, illustrations and photos. A total of around 200 geogenetic definitions have been created for eleven different geological education areas, which can now be researched online in the digital specialist information system of the geological mapping guide and can be used as a reference work.
