Corine Land Cover 2015 – 5 ha

Description

The data set CLC5 (2015) represents a description of the landscape in vector format according to the nomenclature of CORINE Land Cover (CLC) of the European Environment Agency, which on the one hand reflect land cover and on the other also include aspects of land use. The basis for CLC5 (2015) is the land cover model Germany 2015 (LBM-DE2015) and 2018 (LBM-DE2018) with its detailed breakdown into land cover (LB) and land use (LN) as well as information on the sealing (SIE) and vegetation share (VEG) with a minimum object size of 1 ha. Unique CLC classes are derived from the combinations of LB and LN taking into account SIE and VEG (“CLC15”). These data are then generalised to a minimum area size of 5 ha for CLC5 (2015).
