Distribution of Forest Tree Species in Andalusia 2022
Description
Mapping of the distribution of forest tree species in Andalusia updated to January 2022. The information comes from the interpretation, analysis and classification of the cartographic base SIPNA16_2022_01 (Information System on the Natural Heritage of Andalusia, Publication 2022_01). A cartography called EspArb is included, which includes all the polygons of SIPNA with the presence of one up to a maximum of 7 tree species, with their coverage in percentage included.
In addition, for each of the 25 most representative tree species, or groups of species such as Eucalyptus or Populus, a cartography has been prepared with their distribution, indicating also the cartographic base origin of the data, the percentage of the tree stratum in each polygon and within it, the corresponding to the species, indicating the specific taxon present and its unique identifier.
The 26 layers are also included in the standard interoperable Geopackage (gpkg) format.
