Description
Landslide is one of two types of land movements considered and mapped at Mayotte. It is a gravitary movement of a volume of movable soil on a slope and can mobilise a few m³ to several hundred thousand m³. These phenomena can be rapid or slow, earthworks, the presence of water and earthquakes can be triggers of these slips.
