Air capacity in effective root space
Description
The evaluation map shows the derived values of the air capacity (LK) of the pore space of the total soil at field capacity of the effective root space in the form of LK levels. These input data are necessary for the evaluation of the soil subfunction “Filters and buffers for pollutants” and were determined according to the Saxon soil assessment instrument (LfULG, 2009) depending on fine soil type and coarse soil content, dry raw and storage density of the soil, as well as humus levels of the mineral soil or the substance volume of peat species groups.
