LGRB-BW ROHV: Near-surface mineral raw materials
Description
This map is a nationally unified representation of three different raw material geological maps of the LGRB. The classification by raw material group is based on the map of the mineral raw materials of Baden-Württemberg (KMR50), the latest published map work. The present map is continuously updated with the update of the KMR50. Gravel and sands (yellow colours) occur mainly in the Upper Rhine Trench and in the Alpine foothills, limestone deposits (blue colours) in the shell lime landscape and on the Swabian Alb, brick raw materials (red colours) especially in the Albvorland and Kraichgau and the basic mountain rocks (violet colours) in Black Forest and Odenwald. Shown are proven and predicted occurrences as well as their possible (main) use, the attributes include information on potential, reliability and width.
