Uplands to Nitrate Sensitive Habitat Nature
Description
The theme shows catchment areas for nitrate-sensitive habitat types in Natura 2000 areas. The catchment delimitation was drawn up by the University of Aarhus in 2016 and shows catchment areas for registered habitat habitat types, which the Environmental Protection Agency assesses to be sensitive to nitrates. The catchment demarcation is defined by coordinates in Order No 217 on the demarcation of catchment areas for nitrate-sensitive habitat types in Natura 2000 areas of 28/02/2018. The catchment demarcation forms the basis for requirements for additional catch crops for farmers who apply livestock manure.
The theme is digitized in 1:25,000 and 1:100.000
