Inventory recording for nature conservation
Description
In the course of the year, certain species and biotopes are recorded nationwide by the Lower Saxony State Agency for Water Management, Coastal and Nature Conservation (NLWKN) or by its commissioners. For this purpose, it is necessary to enter land on which these species and biotopes occur. The studies are used to map or document native species and biotopes, which is necessary, among other things, to fulfil legal monitoring and reporting obligations vis-à-vis the EU under the Fauna Flora Habitats Directive (FFH). The overview contains the study areas and the year with the presumed completion of the recording.
