Description
The Thermal Regime map: Thermal Regimes according to J. Papadakis, belongs to a group of thematic maps based on agroclimatic variables called Characterization or Agroclimatic Information. The classification developed by Papadakis is based on the establishment of a thermal regime and a water regime that will serve to determine the different climatic units, including factors of high relevance for crops such as summer and winter severity. The Thermal Regime map corresponds to a thermal regime model represented through a hyposometric ink map. This information is produced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food by geostatistical interpolation methods (kriging) from the data of 1803 stations belonging to the network of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
