Description
Large cave in the mass limestone of Brilon; An example of interdisciplinary caving in the Sauerland. In 1987, on the eastern edge of the Rhenish Slate Mountains in Wünnenberg-Bleiwäsche, an extensive, previously unknown cave system was discovered by Brilon speleologists, which received the name "Malachitdom". The rich equipment of the volume with illustrations, numerous color photos and a cave plan as a supplement provides a broad insight into the cave system of the unique geotope "Malachitdom". The cave is located near Detmold and impresses with its colored stalactites.
