Digital Orthophotos (DOP010 ) WSDNW
Description
Digital orthophotos (DOP) are high-resolution, distortion-free images of the Earth's surface. In the state of Lower Saxony, digital orthophotos are produced with the help of a computer-aided equalization process based on the aerial photographic material of the current flights since 2001. They are available with a geometric accuracy of about +/- 0.1 m on a scale of 1:5000 in the sheet section of the DGK5. They are colored, razor-sharp and as precise as a card. Digital orthophotos are true to scale and can thus be directly compared with maps of the same scale or digitally combined with specialist data, for example road planning. The DOP data is available in the TIFF data format. The file name contains the sheet number of the DGK5. They have a standard tile size of 2 km x 2 km. The data volume of the colored DOP (TIFF uncompressed) is about 1.2 GB per raster file and is therefore not downloadable via the shopping cart of the GeoKatalog.WSV. The data are subject to the Terms of Use of the Surveying and Cadastre Administration of Lower Saxony! The source of supply is the WSD Northwest, see sales metadata.
