Description
This table contains age-specific fertility rates (number of children per woman) by maternal ranking and woman’s birth generation. The figures refer to the population of the Netherlands.
Data available: 1935-2020
Status of the figures:
The figures in this table for birth generations 1935-1961 are based entirely on observations. The birth generations from 1962 onwards are based on observations and prognosis figures.
Amendments as of 13 December 2012.
In this new table, the previous forecast has been revised based on the latest insights, the forecast period now runs from 2012 to 2060.
Amendments as of 16 December 2014.

When will there be new figures?
In December 2014, the new forecast figures will be published in a new table.
