LAPRO2009 — Succession and care areas
Description
The landscape program provides indications of the need for care of areas (maintenance areas) that are no longer used for agriculture. In these areas, targeted care or the initiation of a new use to keep valuable biotope types open and to maintain structural diversity is necessary. Already completely brittle and wooded fallow areas are depicted as succession areas. Sukession and care areas are displayed together in a shapefile. In the areas where the need for care (also mosaic-like) is given, this information is reproduced by the additional representation of a corresponding symbol. see Saarland Landscape Programme, Chapter 6.8 (Status: June 2009)
