Basic network SL - height fixed points
Description
The geodetic basic networks of the LVGL in location, height and gravity are the basis for any surveying activity in the Saarland. While the position coordinates are stored on a mathematical reference surface, the ellipsoid, the altitude and gravity data refer to a physical surface, the so-called geoid. The elevation values NHN (NormalHeightNull) refer to the Amsterdam level. The spatial reference of the official surveying system is realized by a nationwide uniform, homogeneous fixed point field, which is densified country-specifically.
