Description
This map layer is part of the Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders. This map layer describes the heat production from renewable energy, estimated for the following types of technology: solar energy, biomass and shallow geothermal energy. Biomass plants producing pure heat and non-ground-connected heat pumps are not part of this estimate. The most recent publicly available data was used in each case. For more information on the data sources and key figures used, please refer to the report. The totals per municipality are expressed here per unit of area. The figures per municipality can also be consulted in the attached table.
