Description
The table provides data on research activities and
development (R & D) of companies, public research institutions and
universities in the Netherlands.
This concerns:
— the number of companies and institutions with own R & D activities;
— expenditure incurred on behalf of the R & D with its own staff;
— the R & D staff, both in the number of persons employed and
in numbers of working years.
The data relates to companies and research institutions with 10
and more active people.The reference date is 31 December.
The data are broken down by industry (industry, services and
other industries) and company size (10 to 50 persons employed, 50 to 250 persons employed and 250 and more employed persons).
Data available from 2002 to 2007.
Changes as of 6 March 2014:
None, the table has been discontinued.
