Brunswick owns nearly 1700 historically valuable buildings and facilities, whose preservation is in the public interest because of their special historical, artistic or urban significance and which are thus legally protected construction or land monuments. These are represented in a map by different color dots. Monument protection and preservation include all measures aimed at the conservation of monuments.
