Alkis displays the properties and other basic information of the property register with object-structured geometry and property data. Alkis is based on the concept of the Official Property Register Information System (ALKIS) developed by the Association of Surveying Administrations of the Federal Republic of Germany (AdV) and included in the documentation for modelling geoinformation of the official surveying system (GeoInfoDok). The standard-based exchange interface (NAS) designed for the exchange of object-structured geobase information is used for communication.
