Business environment; ageing, degreening internally. compared, 2000-2050
Description
This table shows for a number of countries the (future) development of population ageing and degreening. Not only the years 2000 and 2010 are shown in this table, but also the expected ratio in the future. Ageing and greening have an impact on labour supply and the balance between workers and non-workers in a society and thus on the business environment.
Please note: In order to enable an international comparison, the figures presented here used internationally comparable definitions, which sometimes differ from those normally used by CBS. As a result, differences can occur between these figures and national figures published elsewhere on the CBS website.
Data available on: 2000-2050, 10-yearly. Forecasts at end-2013.
