Description
The dataset contains reduced clay thicknesses for individual layers and accumulated layers. Data is calculated by subtracting the thickness of oxidized clay from the total clay thickness over specific magazines calculated on the basis of hydrostratigraphic models. The oxidised part is assessed on the basis of the location of the redox border, the location of the water table or a specific assessment. Data were originally compiled in raster format and each point represents a grid cell centre. The inventory is derived from the hydrostratigraphic model in question and therefore data may not be comparable across model boundaries. Reduced clay thickness is found as polygons and points. Data have been collected since the start of the groundwater mapping in 2000 and will be continuously updated.
