Health Source Protected Areas (HQSG) (outlines)
Description
A medicinal spring conservation area (HQSG) is a catchment area of medicinal spring extraction points established by ordinance in accordance with Section 53(4) of the Water Resources Act (WHG) in conjunction with Section 94 of the Lower Saxony Water Act (Niedersächsisches Wassergesetz, NWG) in order to protect the medicinal spring against adverse effects. The healing spring protection area can be divided into zones with different protection provisions.The protection provisions are divided into protection zones according to the respective protected area regulation (see link in attribute table under ‘RQ_LINK’).Both ‘established HQSG’ and ‘HQSG in process’ are presented with draft regulations.These data are also available in the INSPIRE data model ‘Annex 3: Management areas/protected areas/regulated areas and reporting units’. The provision takes place via the Federal Institute for Hydrology (BfG) via display and download service, whose URLs are specified in the transfer options.
