Social security; Key figures, benefits by type of benefit
Description
This table provides an up-to-date overview of the main statistical figures on social security.
The figures relate to benefits in respect of incapacity for work, unemployment, social assistance, the elderly, survivors and
child benefit (national insurance schemes AOW, Anw and AKW).
Data available from: January 1998.
Status of figures
The figures for the three most recent months are provisional, the figures for the previous months are final.
In the case of assistance, the three most recent months are based on an estimate. After three months, the provisional figures are overwritten by final figures.
The monthly and quarterly figures are end-of-year stock figures, the annual figures are averages.

- Preliminary figures of April 2024
- the provisional figure of the AKW benefits of Q1 2024
