Public register of prices of tobacco products
Description
Pursuant to Article 6 of the Regulation on the conditions and procedure for recording the prices of tobacco products, the price register for tobacco products is kept in accordance with a model approved by the Director of the Customs Agency in electronic form on the website of the Customs Agency. The following shall be entered in the register: 1. the last recorded selling price of a tobacco product or the price of a single piece of hand-rolled cigars, for which a certificate of registered price has been issued, as well as the previously recorded price; 2. the manufacturer, the person who introduces tobacco products from another Member State, or the importer and the proprietor of the trademark right; 3. the date from which the registered price becomes public; 4. the trademark; 5. the variety of the product; 6. the type of cigarettes; 7. the size of the pack along the length of the cigarette (for cigarettes); 8. the description of the packaging; 9. the number of pieces in the package; 10. the length of a cigarette without the filter or mouthpiece; 11. the diameter of a cigarette; 12. the maximum content of nicotine, tar and carbon monoxide in a cigarette; 13. the weight of tobacco in one pack of smoking tobacco. The information entered in the register shall be made public from the moment of service of a certificate of registered price or of a change in the price recorded, which shall be issued by the Director of the Customs Agency or a person authorised by him, and until the entry into force of the relevant price registered, the information entered in the register shall be for official use by the customs authorities.
