Installations requiring permits

Description

Approval decisions of the installations to be approved in the formal procedure (installations of procedure type G from Annex 1 to the 4th BImSchV). Installations subject to approval listed in Annex 1 to 4. BImSchV are marked with a G in column d. I.e. annexes which are subject to the formal procedure (appendices of procedure types E and G from Annex 1 to the 4th BImSchV) must be approved. Currently, only installations in the area of responsibility of the Labour Inspectorate are presented (no presentation of the installations in the area of responsibility of the LBEG and the lower pollution control authorities). Article 24 of the IED lays down rules on access to information and public participation in the permit granting process. These provisions were taken into account when transposing the IED into national law in an Article Act which also amended the BImSchG accordingly. Since then, the permit decision and the name of the BAT reference document for installations pursuant to the Industrial Emissions Directive relevant to the installation in question have to be made publicly available on the Internet. Lower Saxony goes a little further in this map presentation and publishes here the approval notices of all projects to be approved in the formal procedure (Annexes of procedure type G from Annex 1 to the 4th BImSchV). The current approval notice is always set, which would be replaced accordingly by a subsequent one. An approval history is not provided for here. All installations of procedure type G requiring approval are already visible in the interactive map display. The current approval notices have been discontinued since December 2014. The data is updated daily.
