Ambient vision - Large solar parks

Description

Large solar farms are needed to meet energy and climate targets. Solar parks cannot be built everywhere. The environmental vision therefore includes a map showing where solar parks can be possible. The map was created by not including those lands where barriers apply to solar parks. The update plan was adopted by the Provincial Council on 19 December 2018. In the meantime (April 2024) new rules are being worked on in the environmental regulation. The map in the Environmental Ordinance no longer fits the upcoming policy and the wishes of the coalition and is therefore no longer up to date. Therefore only published internally and not externally.
