Innovation in companies; type of innovation and development of innovations
Description
This table contains data on innovation in Dutch companies. Figures are available on the number of companies with innovations and the type of innovation involved. In addition, figures are available on the development of these innovations and whether the innovations were new to the market.
The data is the result of a biennial innovation survey conducted under a sample of companies with 10 or more persons employed. A survey covers three years, for example 2016 to 2018 (this is the reporting period). The last year in a survey is the same as the first year in the next survey. This means that the periods partly overlap.
The figures are broken down by company size and industry according to the 2008 Standard Business Classification (SBI 2008).
This table is published here as part of the State of SMEs.
