Bankruptcies; business activity by region and company characteristic,1993-2011
Description
This table gives an overview of the annual bankruptcies declared by the court by industry, business age in the event of bankruptcy and province. The numbers of pronounced bankruptcies are not corrected for the rulings that were later destroyed. Because of the fact that link with the General Business Register (ABR)
it was not possible because of the absence of a correct date of registration with the Chamber of Commerce, as from 2007, the data on the duration of the company’s existence were missing.
Data available from 1993 to 2011.

All figures are final.

None, this table has been discontinued.
Reason for cessation:
The tables on the bankruptcies in the Netherlands have been redesigned. The new tables can be found on statline under the theme Companies/Companies Demography/Failures.
