Unemployment Act, benefits by region, age and gender, 1998-2015
Description
The table provides an overview of the number of benefits under the Unemployment Act (WW).
In addition to data on the number of benefits at the beginning and end of the reporting period, the table provides an overview of the administrative difference at the end of the reporting period and the duration of the benefit at the end of the benefit.
From 1 July 2015, the name of the municipality of De Friese Meren has been changed to De Fryske Marren. This amendment is/has been incorporated into the table from 1 January 2016.
The data are broken down by the following personal and benefit characteristics:
— gender;
— age;
— region.

The first quarter of 1998 to the fourth quarter of 2015.
Status of the figures:
The data from the first quarter of 1998 to the third quarter of 2015 are final. Data for the fourth quarter of 2015 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be finalised.
